The Nihilanth seems impervious to attacks even when its head is open and I should be able to attack it, and sometimes it outright refuses to open its head, preventing me from attacking at all. The second room swarms you with controllers who have homing attacks, these can be very hard to kill and simply collecting the health packs will often lead to me having no access to health packs at the end of the battle (resulting in me dying to the Nihilanth).
The teleport attack teleports you to 3 rooms. Also, the energy ball attack is EXTREMELY inconsistent, sometimes it damages me through pillars which are designed for cover. The energy ball attack often kills me instantly, so I try to dodge it when I can, but if the Nihilanth tries to use the attack in the air, I have no way of dodging it. As far as I know, it has 2 attacks, one teleports you, one fires energy balls at you.
For multiple days now, I have been on Nihilanth trying over and over again to complete it to no avail. I am on the brink of enabling god mode just so I can beat the game.
